Giuseppe: A Magazine of Literature and Impersonation

Giuseppe is the online literary magazine and subsidiary of Yossarian Universal News Service, the world’s first professional parody news and disinformation syndicate. Giuseppe promotes parody literature as part of a natural progression of the art. So called “fake news” has blown the door wide open for “fake literature.” As a result an unlimited wealth of information and resources for satiric discovery and use have been made possible through the worldwide web. Poetry, fiction, critical essays and reviews, and the institutions that revere them, are more than slightly suspect. Like YU News Service before it, which pioneered the skill of the well-placed and keenly written parody news story, Giuseppe welcomes the challenge to explore new territory and do its part.
